Revolting!
Sounds as if this "group" is attempting to emulate the "shock jocks" of Western society. Guess they went much farther, though.
Any group with talent need not lower themselves to this level.
I feel for the poor people who went to the concert, but, even more so for the family of the victim who must now deal with the second time their loved one was used for a perverted reason.
No excuse for it!

Was it the truth or was it a fake video?
If it was fake, then it was, in my opinion, an effort to incite hate.
If it was the truth, well, some people can't handle the truth but they say it will set you free.

Cap't;
We already KNEW the truth of what happened to that poor man!
This was exploitation. Plain and simple.
This set NO ONE FREE. But, it may well have imprisoned some in the darnkess of PTSD, depression and anxiety.
Again, NO EXCUSE for inflicting such pain on the audience and, most importantly, on the family.

That's cool. I can understand and agree with your point.
I am simply saying, right or wrong, if it happened, it happened. we should not run from truth and bury our heads in the sand as we often do. That's the point I was driving at.
For example, our media would not show us mangled and bloddied victims of our Iraqi aggression and occupation. As long as our little war is neat and tidy, we can let it slide.
You know, the more I think of it, the truth may very well set one free. We should try that one of these days.

OK, Cap't;
I can hear you and understand and agree with your point too.
I guess, in the end, there is no excuse for either the action or the inaction.

Well, we have Rumsfeld constantly telling us about the head choppers, rapists, and murderers in Iraq hoping to get the population behind his agenda. So, we're not above that type of rebel-rousing either, I suppose.
If he could only play guitar.....

Capt'n America, i can agree with you on truth issue and all that, but if they showed the beheading without warning then they exposed it to people that would probably turn such a proposition down. Me myself has not watched any beheadings, it's enough what i can imagine in my mind, i do not need to see it.

Now that is metal!
That's really sick. Why would someone show that kind of stuff when fireworks would have been cooler, and less likely to cause a riot?

Maybe the band is anti-war who knows. Clearly they chose the wrong forum for showing their views. A concert is not a place to showing ones politics like that. Or trying to capitalize off it.

I thought it was more like a Toby Keith type concert with film of Twin Towers on 9/11 playing in the background. You know....a patriotic thing. Perhaps to remind them why they are in Iraq. Who knows?

Sounds more like a Judas Priest concert....
You can look to the left and
Look to the right
But you will live in danger tonite
When the enemy comes he will
Never be heard
He’ll blow your mind and not say a word
Blinding lights--flashing colors
Sleepless nights
If the man with the power
Can’t keep it under control
Some heads are gonna roll
Some heads are gonna roll
(repeat)
The power-mad freaks who are
Ruling the earth
Will show how little they think you’re worth
With animal lust they’ll
Devour your life
And slice your word to bits like a knife
One last day burning hell fire
You’re blown away
If the man with the power
Can’t keep it under control
Some heads are gonna roll
Some heads are gonna roll
(repeat)
Know what it’s like
When you’re taken for granted
There goes your life
It’s so underhanded
If the man with the power
Can’t keep it under control
Some heads are gonna roll
Some heads are gonna roll

Gross. That's just sick and wrong. I think Slayer's trick was a lot more appropriate, yet still cool. Turn off the lights mid-set, douse selves in stage blood, start playing the intro to Raining Blood, turn lights on 30 seconds in, while stage blood rains from sprinklers on ceiling. :rocking:

i am about 98% certain that they were not celebrating this beheading. in that case i support their 1st ammendment right to show this important event. if you haven't seen something like this yet, you should because it will mortify and polarize you.
