We're reading the same news reports. I was just about to post this myself. It looks serious when it was done at 8,500 feet. They said this had to be a very sophisticated device. Al Queda won't be satisfied until they manage to kill a lot of Americans as they did on 9/11. They might do this with several planes all at the same time. We could have thousands dead again and we can be sure "they" will be dancing in the streets. (Is this too strident?)

GL, surely Mule was refering to the fanatical religious extremists who reveled following the 9/11 tragedy.

What concerns me is the phenomonen Mule has just demonstrated which seems to be prevalent in our society. When something disturbing or not readily explainable occurs the al Qaida conclusion is immediately drawn. I am concerned that "we" (meaning society in general, as well as government agencies like Homeland Security, Defense, Intelligence et. al.) missed the message of Oklahoma City. "We" may be vigilantly on guard for wolves while the fox raids the henhouse.
