the pope behaves and speaks as if families were being banned. nothing like that is happening.

it's not a traditional 'marraige'. don't use the word marraige. say 'oh, they have a lifelong gay union.' that is acceptable terminology. this is an issue revolving around terminology rather than substance. you can't stop gays from loving eachother. trying to hold them back in other ways because you can't force them to not exist is just unfair. technically, that is "being a douche".

a religious leader should strive to advance people's personal understandings of god and the energetic spiritual world around them. catholocism would have us believe that god stopped making the world when they wrote the bible.

christianity has been turned into a dead religion by the church. if only they knew the vibrance of god and life and the message behind jesus' teaching. jesus was a man like any other. he was selected by god to do amazing things and reveal many wonders to the world. god speaks to us today, god is in our lives today. listen to it.

they are also still poisoned by the middle ages concepts of original sin, static rituals that once had real meaning, a vengeful god, a patriarchal society, and they have terrible sexual hangups. why do we take sexual advice from an organization rife with child molesters?

i don't want to hurt anyone or destroy any concepts. i want to help people grow in love of god. seriously, catholocism is a poor religion in my opinion and other more present religions and personal spiritual methods are available. take some time and look for god. god has had you in the palm of its hand for a long time. you won't have to look far past yourself.
