some interesting results here I saw other athiests take this test and not surprisingly they had episcopal anglican church for 1. This may be because you cant see the spirit moving as much as it does in the united penticostal (which not surprisingly scored 21 with unoty and mormonism who also teach healing.)
Im a very interested what is your view of the symbol in the church? http://www.biblebash.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=180&start=0
this is a penticostal doctrine and i wanted to know what someone from the otherside thought lol.
#1 Unitarian Universalism
#2 Unity Church
#3 Liberal Quakerism
#4 Seventh-Day Adventist
#5 Jehovah's Witness
lol now thats what I call a mixed bag lol Im surprised the lutheran church wasnt higher on the list are you a neo pagan?

tdb, this is a satanic symbol and it is used by a lot of Metal Bands and metal heads.I remember seeing Ronnie James Dio using this symbol alot. I have not heard this symbol being used in a church but I guess it could happen.this is very similar to the sign language signal for Love. I can see how some may get confused in trying to use it or some may confuse what it means when they see it. It also is similar to the hook em horns sign that Univ. of Texas uses. So it can get a little complicated when you try to sort it all out. I do think that some may over react a bit.

There is no real definition of a liberal quaker, so I don't know what any of this means.
I am very very drunk right now, and amorous. Does this statement make me a liberal quaker? I don't know.... Does it matter?

If Liberal Quakerism means: I become a failed political journalist (because I am a passionate poet), listen to opera, become friends with another famous poet, and die alone, because I am a closeted homosexual - then no, Whitman does not rock. But his Leaves of Grass was exceptional. As for Whitman himself, he seemed out of place. He would have been better off as openly gay and not so vulnerable.

C'mon, give him a break. He was like a century ahead of his time.
There is a great comparison to be made between Edgar Allen Poe and "The Raven", with Whitman and "out of the cradle endlessly rocking". They are completly and eerily inverse of eachother. (if you're into that kind of thing)

I prefer Poe, and frankly, I like H.P. Lovecraft. ( They are both a good hoot for early horror).
It's errie that such a tortured poet could know so much about a man who lost everything.
