What we have here is an intelligent member of the Church who finally realized the highly irresponsible prohibition on condom use was killing people left and right. This is a reversal (though minor, as it didn't come from the Pope himself, as pointed out already) of a decree that "saves" people's souls at the expense of killing them outright.

So when you consider this much, a bit of offcolor humor (as Larani has his own gift for) is warranted. It's certainly a better alternative than what I've put up above - less antagonistic that is.

But then again, antagonism is my own gift. Thanks.

I believe the irony involved with clergy participating in such an act makes it somewhat more prone to humor than just any ordinary sexual molestation.

Actually I was just wondering if they were proclaiming that rest of us could use them or if it was only the little boys. Because to me I found that to be hilarious and since I did I thought some others might also as well and I do indeed enjoy sharing the laughter with others.
