Humans and animals have a long history of bonding like this.

Com'on. Women in Africa are treated like sex slaves or worse. I cannot imagine what they must go through on this continent. The over all treatment of women is barbaric, cruel, tortuous, inhuman, and sadistic. The treatment of women on this continent is akin to the Dark Ages.

True, lions in Africa are very fond of African women. Their meat is very soft and tasty, because they excercise a lot, and eat food without chemical additives. It's too bad however, that lions don't give a **** about the socio political problems concerning their snacks.

OK, I admit that story in question is a noble mare's nest, intended to draw the reader's attention to the problems of African women. But- it's still a mare's nest.

Iahve my doubts about the story but if the lions were female - it's not outside the realm of possibility. Highly doubtful, but not impossible. Probably made up.

If it had come from anyone other than the Associated Press, I would have doubted it myself.
