Anyone seen the details of just how much cooperation ex-Enron CFO Andy Fastow is going to give to the feds? More importantly, who else will he allow them to go after in court?
Your thoughts?

I don't think they have released any of the details yet but he supposedly can put the finger on Ken Lay. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that with him being Bush's good bud and all. Ashcroft will slow that investigation down to a crawl to make sure that nothing comes out before the election that would make W look bad. Funny thing, thousands of people lost everything with Enron's collapse and millions of dollars were squandered away in fraudulent activity and accounting practices and Ken Lay is still walking the streets a free man. Over in Italy, a country rife with corruption and notorious for it's crooked court system, a company named Parmalat went bankrupt or had serious money troubles and guess what happened? The Italian authorities went out and arrested the top dozen or so officials of Parmalat and they are sitting in the pokey right now awaiting trial. You'd think we would have enough evidence to lock Lay and his bunch up for a while given how long it's been since Enron went belly up. To quote my late buddy John Belushi, "But Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
