She's gotten marriage proposals from admiring visitors to her Web site.

Maddox may be 21 and she may be attractive, but she isn't trolling for dates. Her heart belongs to U.S. troops.

"I want them to understand that my generation cares," Maddox said.

The "Hot" stands for "Helping Our Troops," a nonprofit organization Maddox founded in March that she believes is the only one of its kind in the nation.

What began with a single package has morphed into a growing operation that has Maddox and her mother, Madeleine, working full time out of their Santa Ana home.
