AH! Yes!, the DAVIS-BACON ACT---I haven't read any posts regarding this matter. You know,the one where Bush is rolling back the labor law to allow the Cleanup, Repair, and rebuilding leaches to pay sub-standard wages to the actual workers in the Ravaged Gulf Coast area>.
The contracters are allowed to get rich off of this disaster, and to pay as little as possible to the people doing the work. This of course has opened the door to illegal immegants from mexico to come in,and get the jobs WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION that should be reserved for the people actually from the area and who desparately need the Jobs. It is already happening. Illegals have already been hired as baggage handlers in the new Orleans Airport, without even the required Security checks.
Just one more of BUSH'S cute little mistakes.
