First what books do you speak of? And to you why don't you read the bible? This may answer many questions.

He means the banned books list. Him being Muslim (maybe I have him confused) has little to do with banned books list.

Fiction is never morally neutral. Within any book there are attitudes about the world which are implicitly defended or rejected. If these conflict with your understanding of the world, you are often left with the choice of revising your understanding or dismissing--at least in part--the perspective found in the book. This is true whether you are a Christian, a Sikh, a Muslim or an atheist. I could suggest whole books on the topic if you are interested; I majored in English.

who does not like books? This Christian loves books. I read more in a year than some people do in a lifetime, partly because I can read quite quickly, but mostly because I enjoy it.
