Quote-"To influence someone is to give ones own soul. He does not think his natural thoughts, burn with his natural passions. His virtues are not real to him. His sins,if there are such things as sins, are borrowed. He becomes an echo of some one else's music, an actor of a part that has not been written for him. The aim of life is self-devolpment. To realize ones nature perfectly-that is what each of us is here for. {People are afraid of themselves.(HOmophobes/racists)} They have forgotten the highest of all duties, the duty that one owes to ones self. Courage has gone from our race. Perhaps we never really had it. The terror of society, which is the basis of morals, the terror of god which is the secret of religion-these are the two things that govern us." -Lord Henery (pg 35 THe picture of dorian gray by oscar wilde)
THis is a good quote becuase religion is based on feer of hell and of gods wrath. Shouldnt the bible be stories to live by and not inforce? Arent we all here to discover our selfs and to enrich our lifes? Society controls our moral beings and our soul is clashing wit the morals of ones self and the ones of society. People are afraid of change and of wat they do not understand or cannot control. Courage has gone becuase everyone falls behinde the government and do not rise up and stand for wat they belive in.

THis is a good quote becuase religion is based on feer of hell and of gods wrath. It is for some, but certainly not for all. Fear of hell alone is weak motivator, and makes for disobedient, insincere, introverted, petty people. Love of God and humanity is much stronger, and leads to action to bless the people around you.

To claim authenticity and superior virtue by refusing to follow others, no matter how wise their counsel may be, is to be a diminished, impoverished, and lesser self.

It took a while to realize because I struggled to somedegree with this notionthatmany accept God only to avoid punishment. This is true that some do it but it is not true that the Bible's purpose is to do that. The mention of Hell or punishment is not to scare non christians into repentence it is to alert christians.

I could probably cite hundreds of such beliefs found in your posts if I cared to waste my time in the demonstration.

Really I don't know how well you can comment on atleast christianity as you are seemingly totally ignorant of it's teachings. I'm not trying to attack you but I'm just stating the obivious. If you have actually read and studied the teachings of Jesus then you would know that a person would not by lowering nor losing any of themselves by following Jesus' beliefs and practices.
P.S.
Oh and read the new testment part of the bible.

These are quotes of a person attempting to make an educated discussion on something they are not educated about. So I didn'tasssume anything when it came to you commenting on christianity.
