A thread designed for people who like to go off on tangents.

The tangential universe is ever expanding, and reflects our unwillingness to cope with adversity, ill comprehension and numerous foreign perspectives.

This might be a place holder, a book mark, a reference point, for you to put your tangents instead of in a local or worldly thread discussion.

This is a cry for help, to get people back to the topic, since this is a forum about discussion, and hopefully learning politics, not wasting your time for mere self-gratified attention seeking.

Debate consists of confronting the subject at hand, not avoiding it in useless off-topic statements which do NOT pertain to the Thread's subject matter directly or at all.

Reality is here. Whistlestopper has changed, so if we are reading and posting for personal reasons, let reality and the outside world's existence show us how to get unstuck from our own biased perceptions.

Well said, pretty deep, and I commend your spirit but my guess is that people who are often "off topic", believe themselves to be "on topic". If they were reasoned enough to realize they need to direct their thoughts here when they are off topic, they'd have the ability to focus in the relative thread.
Am I too off topic for this thread now? That's sort of a compound tangent, isn't it? A tangent in a tangential thread. Maybe you're right, getting off topic in and off topic thread equates to getting back on topic. Two negatives equal a positive after all.
That guy, #55 for George Mason looks pretty damn big.
Kingsford or Matchlight?
I'm going with "Savemore".

I have probably only been to a couple hundred cities. They only all had Jefferson's and King's but no Kennedy's. My random number generater, generated .41340 today. That was fun, NPR fun.
