View Full Version : If a woman is naked, with no way of covering her up, it is legitimate to kill her

Friday sermons from around the Islamic world used to be circulated fairly regularly by MEMRI and others; you can search the archives here and find some hair-raising examples. But in recent months few have come to light; apparently someone in the PR department realized just how damaging the publication of these sermons in the West was to the jihad cause.
Now, however, Der Spiegel (thanks to JS) has published a full-length piece, "What Muslims Hear at Friday Prayers." The Spiegel editors seem uncomfortable with what they have found, and engage in some despicable (and entirely unsupported by any evidence) moral equivalence, saying this a few sentences after they quoted the Abu Hamza statement that I posted as the headline here: "But surely such examples of narrow-mindedness can be found in any major religion or creed."
Oh really? Then produce such examples, please. Let us see a Spiegel report on Christian, Jewish, Buddhist and Hindu preachers calling for the murders of women who they deem to be not dressed properly. Let us hear about the Christian preachers who say, "This is a sign, you faithful, that your battle with the Jews is still a long way from coming to an end." Tell us about the Jewish and Christian congregations that chant "Death to Iran!" or death to anyone.
Nonetheless, despite this absurdity, the Spiegel report is illuminating:
From Der Speigel
Radical preachers have actively contributed to this impression. In a Berlin mosque, a television crew secretly recorded the sermon of a Turkish imam who described the Germans as godless and railed against what their alleged stench. In London, hate preacher Abu Hamza al-Masri called upon the faithful to murder female tourists in his native Egypt, saying: "If a woman, even a Muslim woman, is naked and you have no way of covering her up, it is legitimate to kill her."

Buddhism is probably pretty safe, but any cursory reading of the Pentatuch reveals some fairly intolerant rules is Judaism. Hindu fundamentalists don't have much against human nakedness, but they have their own intolerant attitudes toward things like, say, eating meat--which you and I probably do most every day.
And one more time--let's not equate jihadists with all Muslims. Also, you don't have to go back very far in history (maybe 200 years) before you see that women were treated much better in the Islamic world than in Europe or under Judaism, where they could be left destitute with the pronoucement of a few words. "Alimony" is an Islamic concept.
But, for an Imam actually IN GERMANY, that seems pretty scary.

How about the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas (http://www.godhatessweden.com/) ?
I particularily enjoy this quote: "Unconfirmed numbers of Swedes are dead as a result of the tsunamis which ravaged Thailand and the other lush resorts of that region, and thousands more are unaccounted for, either still rotting in the tropical conditions or buried, as they deserve, as ***** in mass graves (see Jeremiah 22:19). Scarcely a family in Sweden has been untouched by the devastation. Bible preachers say, THANK GOD for it all!"

Ouch. OUCH. Oh lord... we're about to be into a gigantic new equilibrium here, something resembling the American Revolution.
A big part of that was about "religious freedom" - y'all know that, right?
In the meantime though, we're going to be into a world of hurt. Y'all can mark the date and time here, and note my prediction.
Right now, I'm just biding my time up here on the 'net, while Nicky decides what to do with herself, and maybe doing a little part-time work in my chosen field (engineering)....
But tomorrow, I fully expect to be right on the streets. This stuff is so nuts and so insane, that it'll boggle the mind of even a guy like me, who's thoroughly street-wise.
Heads-up people. I wish you the best. And I hope we'll be alongside each other, when the sh** hits the fan.

Amen and Amen. Religion is screwed, however if we couldnt fall out over religion, we'd find something else to fall out over.

How about the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas (http://www.godhatessweden.com/) ?How about it? Well, it is an infintismally small congregation made up mostly of the inbread members of Phelps family. They are shunned by virtually every other Christian group, with some of them unwilling to even admit the WBC is Christian.

Since when was Abu Hamza considered indicative of Muslims? He was locked up a while back. I'm sure you could find some crackpot preacher who think the tsunami was punishment for gays or whatever.

So we should wait 1000+ years for Islam to calm the feck down?
