Good grief,, just how gullible are people anyway.................

MIAMI (Reuters) - A 76-year-old man claiming to be a doctor went door-to-door in a Florida neighborhood offering free breast exams, and was charged with sexually assaulting two women who accepted the offer, police said on Thursday.

One woman became suspicious after the man asked her to remove all her clothes and began conducting a purported genital exam without donning rubber gloves, investigators said.

The woman then phoned the Broward County Sheriff's Office and the suspect fled. He was arrested at another woman's apartment in the same Lauderdale Lakes neighborhood on Wednesday, a sheriff's spokesman said.

The white-haired suspect, Philip Winikoff, carried a black bag and claimed to be visiting on behalf of a local hospital.

"He told the woman that he was in the neighborhood offering free breast exams," sheriff's spokesman Hugh Graf said in a statement.

At least two women, both in their 30s, let him into their homes and he fondled and sexually assaulted them, the investigators said.

Winikoff was not a doctor, Graf said. He worked as a shuttle driver for an auto dealership.

However much this sickens me. It is rather amusing that any woman would actually accept it, I mean what idiots.

He will have a long trial and probably be sentenced to a few years in jail. He's 76 years old. Put him under house arrest.

On a lighter note: the man's still got it at 76.

Don't laugh. It's not funny. I could fool a few.. um... young chicks maybe. I've just done that, and it's not pretty in the least. It's coming back to bite me in the a** big-time.

"Fake Doctor" ... wow.... I could raise another concept for you, that's a lot worse and lot more dangerous.

Oh well... at least I'm getting.... um... "off" on a daily basis, and it's nothing I even have to work at, as you say.

Ouch. OW. This stuff is even worse than politics.....

There's a spoof "scam warning" Email on this very topic in circulation for the last few years..which finishes something like "He fooled me on Thursday, Friday and twice on Saturday before I found out....."

It must have been the "free" breast exam that got their attention. Getting something for nothing is a most powerful motivator.

In my hometown here such scams as the Nigerian Scam works successfully every so many months. In scams such as the Nigerian Scam it is the greed of getting something that drives people to take $10,000 to $20,000 out of their savings and give to a complete stranger.

In the above scam the thought of a "free" breast exam had these women taking their clothes off for some little pudgy man pretending to be a doctor.

There could be some copy cat out there right now who tomorrow could easily find a willing recipient because it is "free".

I was something of an amateur gynecologist in my younger days. Paid my way through college!

I never mislead anyone though. Never claimed to be anything more than a Dr. of Loooove
