Forgive me if it seems like I'm trying to incite anything here, I am not. There has been legitimate concerns regarding the (mis)appropriation of monies in New York State, and the apparent rift between those who live West of Interstate 87, and those who live East. Especially Albany South. Here's my position on the whole mess. For decades, New York City has been receiving the lion's share of tax revenue from the entire state while Upstate communities have been left with whopping unfunded mandates and huge property tax and sales tax increases. Meanwhile the Clowns in Albany seem to have a hearing problem when it comes to any relief for anyone other than NYC. Your thoughts? I'd especially like to hear from anyone who lives anywhere in NY State.
