"The White House is creating an Iraq Stabilization Group that would be responsible for handling the day-to-day administration of Iraq and be headed by National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, according to the official."

What do we think?

I'd prefer more of us handing this off to someone else. I do think we stay a target as long as we are there.

In fact, I would say that we have the terrorist right where they want us. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't their goals include killing Americans and hurting the US financially? If that is true, then aren't they killing Americans fairly regularly and isn't the exspense of this increasing the deficit and hurting us fanancially? Seems the sooner someone else can share or take over this burden, the better.

You'll get no argument from me. I'm fairly sure there are more Al Qaeda in Iraq today than pre-war. I'm all for "finishing the job" right. But that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be all American.

No, we need to stay and finish it. You talk to any Vietnam Vet, or Korean War Vet and you ask them how they fill about this. If we just pulled out, it would be horrible.

Don't get me wrong, now that we're in there it would be a crime to the Iraqi people to just pull out. But that doesn't mean we have to do it all ourselves, either. It's in the best interest of the world and the region to do this in as multinational fashion as possible.
