Gen. Wesley Clark, would probably end the drought of non-military presidents when everyone thought that the coming of Bill Clinton had ended it, but not quiet so?

Can this military man, who while in service was told repeatedly not carry a briefcase for press photos by the JCS because it made Generals look like Wimps, lead America.

Will the Americans love to have a General back as their president again?

I think the republicans have actually made it easier for him on this front. They have successfully made patriotism a key issue in recent elections, and this is an area Clark is particularly strong in. That, along with his foreign policy experience gives him a leg up in these areas. I'm not saying he will win, but I don't think his being a general will hurt him except in one possible area: he's never held an elected office.
