Who said I hated him or his kids? (by the way, nice strawman tactic) Anyway, I just find it disrespectful and inappropriate (to say the least) that two 25 year old offspring of a president who started an illegal war that is now a quagmire and killing hundreds of people a day, including our own men and women, are romping arouond like immature little Paris Hiltons.

You would think they have a little more class than that. Apparantly not.

Tell me GL, since they are of age, why don't they go fight?

as far as hating him and his kids, i'd say it fairly drips from you in every post you make about bush.

I romped around naked this summer too. My wife and I have a "nice little spot" up on indian creek. Does this make me shallow as well? :o

I must say that is much worse when their father spends a 4 weeks holidays playing golf when the situation is completely out of control. The behaviour of her daughters may look not appropriate to some, but it's really nothing compared to what daddy has done in the last years...(not talking about "granny" too...)

Why yes, yes it does....(not that there's anything wrong with that) :D

But, seriously, the President's 25 year old girls romping about in the buff? All I can say is - this thread is useless without the pictures!

Oh dear.... Don't let my poor old great aunt Marlene see this! She voted for Bush because she said he was a good, solid, churchgoing "family values" kind of guy. You know what I mean. On our side--the side of decency.

And now this. Aunt Marlene will be so disappointed that he's not been better equipped to keep his young'uns in line. Oh for shame, for shame ...

NG just may have a point. I'm not convinced we can come to a proper conclusion without a careful analysis of the pictures. All in the interests of debate, of course. :D

Nope. I romp around naked all the time ... but I don't support this war nor am I the offspring of someone who is adamant that this is an "ideological struggle." If that were the case, I'd have a little more tact with how I "romp."

Are we fighting only terrorists? Were we fighting terrorists when we invaded Iraq?

Sure you can romp to your heart's content. I'm saying that it's a little ****ty, if the President's daughters are having the time of their lives in foreign countries (romping around naked and making fools of themselves - even being asked to leave) while our service men and women are giving their lives for Daddy's little adventure.

This doesn't bother you in the slightest?

If anybody really wants a picture of the Bush bush, there's one floating around the internet where she's taking off her panties, apparently switching into a bathing suit bottom. She apparently thought the skirt was sufficient cover. She thought wrong. She apparently thought she didn't need a bikini wax also. Wrong again. Takes after her dad, I guess...

I would recommend against it. I'm considering therapy as a result...

The president's daughters behaving badly? I suppose I should be shocked. However, during my lifetime, kennedy slept with marilyn, his brother killed an aid he was sleeping with, barny franks's boyfriend was running a brothel out of his house, and clinton diddled an aid with a cigar. There's more, of course, but after such a long time things tend to get a little "muddled." I suppose I'll just try to keep things in perspective.

Maybe they are against the war in Iraq but don't speak publically about it? Maybe that is why they are indulging in drunken, naked romps in hotel rooms? Their behavior is what I would expect from Bush opponents rather than Bush supporters.(That is if Argentinian tabloid magazines are deemd more accurate and truthful than our own National Inquirer is:rolleyes: )

I suppose they could do much worse. THey could publically call American soldiers cold blooded killers, like John Murtha did. They could claim that our troops were uneducation bumpkins who were limited to military service, like Kerry and Charley Rangel did. They could engage in anti-war protests outside of Walter Reed Army Medical center where our wounded soldiers are recovering, like Code Pink has done. They could undermine the morale of our troops by calling the Commander and Chief a "nazi" a "war criminal" a "liar" a "butcher" or a "thief" who lied, cheated and tricked them into fighting and dying in Iraq for lies, cheap oil and Haliburton as people like you have done. Yes sir, the Bush twins could do far worse...

Equinox you are losing it dude.

A better place for this thread would be the Whistlestop Station forum. This has no political bearings what so ever and is a laughable thread by a person that will reach any length in an attempt to bash Bush.

I too would like to see pictures. Now what percent of the American public supported the war at its inception? How many of those people ever enlisted?

Have a nice day.

If you're willing to be a dittohead, then you don't need to look beneath the surface to find facts. Be a dittohead not! and think for yourself, as I always do:

From the article:

Stories of the twins' visit took on wild proportions in the Argentinean press. One tabloid headline had the young women running nude in the hallway of their hotel, a report the hotel staff denied to ABC News.

According to sources, the U.S. embassy encouraged the two girls to cut their stay short because the added attention was making their security very difficult.

Of course, we need to believe everything that is printed in the tabloids, sure, that's it. C'mon guys, anyone with one eye and half a brain can see that this story is just that, a story. The Bush twins were asked to cut their visit short for security reasons. They were, for some unexplained reason (being the president's daughters? Naw, couldn't be) getting a lot of attention from the press.

I do think they need to get a job like the rest of us. :D Or if they're not willing to work and want to sponge off of daddy they need to enlist. ;)

Didn't one of them say they were going to volunteer to teach in some far flung break away Russian republic, the last time daddy campaigned for president? Like that would happen considering the logistical security nightmare that would have been. I think it just looked good during the campaign though. ;)

Sorry, but I just gotta believe a heck of a lot of our troops died so that all the lovely young ladies could continue to frolic au naturale, and so that some lucky secret service agent might get to catch a glimpse. Who knows, maybe some lucky agent is getting a lot more than that.

You mean like when Rush Limbaugh called Chelsea the "Family Dog"? That kind of sad? Or more of the Rovian assertion that McCain's adopted child was a black baby born out of wedlock kind of sad? ;)

brainpan

I'm thinking that's the kind of sad.

I created a thread a while back about politically correct hate. One insightful member mentioned that it is still OK to make (what should be) horrendously unacceptable jokes about overweight people. I think perceived ugliness fits into the same category.

"Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot" is an attack on more than just Limbaugh, though I'm sure that isn't the intent. And I'm guessing it hurt more than just Chelsea and her family when people made fun of her looks.
