The following are descriptions of the five sex workers who have been murdered or are missing in Suffolk.

Tania Nicol aged 19. Murdered. Tania was 5ft 2ins, slim, with shoulder-length brown hair. Vanished on October 30. Naked body found in pond at Copdock on December 8.

Gemma Adams aged 25. Murdered. Gemma was 5ft 2ins, petite with long blonde hair. Vanished on November 14. Naked body found in a stream at Hintlesham on December 2.

Anneli Alderton aged 24. Murdered. From Harwich, Essex, her naked body found in woods at Nacton on Sunday. Police say she worked as a prostitute in Ipswich. Sources said she had no fixed address. Her family has refused to comment.

Paula Clennell aged 24. Missing. Police say she spoke to a friend late on Sunday. Detectives say she uses a number of addresses in Ipswich and worked as a prostitute.

Annette Nicholls aged 29. Missing. She is 5ft 3ins, slim and with long brown hair. Reported missing yesterday following publicity about the murders. She has not been seen since last Thursday...

They found the bodies of the two missing girls.

Detectives investigating the murders of three prostitutes in Suffolk are expected to confirm the names of two more victims later.

I was going to ask if they copied the Ripper's MO as well as the choice of victim, but reading the BBC article clarified that.

Terrible but as an aside this is the area where I came in to visit in 1965. Took the train into London from Ipswich.

If I may make a suggestion, I would invite in the detectives who worked on the case in Washington State where this guy killed some 48 women like this; the "Green River" killer. They finally caught him after about two decades of work and put him away. Just an ordinary appearing, regular type of guy.
