A Texas lawmaker is aiming to allow the blind to hunt.
State representative, Edmund Kuempel, has introduced a measure that will allow blind people to hunt any game that sighted people can currently pursue.

So, Dick Cheney will be able to keep on with his favourite pastime no matter what.

Hunting for the sake of hunting seems lame.

Blind people need to accept that they're blind and cannot do everything people with sight can do. Be realistic people!

No big deal. Blind people can already hunt in Michigan.
They're the only people that can user lasers for hunting. They have a guide with them to tell them what direction, if the laser's on the target. I think they have a hand on their leg to signal which way to go, left, right, up, down. Foley would be a bad candidate, they might misinterpret the hand going up the thigh as a signal they're aiming too low.
Other than that, its crazy, its odd, hardly believable, but given the laser and the guide, probably safer than sighted hunters who are liable to shoot at anything that rustles in the bushes ahead of them without properly identifying the target...
But yeah, at first glance sounds like the stupidest idea in the whole freaking world... :)

The whole movement of equal rights and opportunities has reached a ridiculous point, people that are blind should no be allowed to shoot at things. It's a ridiculous notion.
