This is not meant to be at all inflamatory or break out into non-civil discussion.
First and foremost, I will describe myself. I am non-religious. My mother was a non practicing Jew and my father was a Polish Christian by descent but disavowed them due to rough experiences in Parochial schools. I am a law student and am therefore a skeptic and generally a cynical human being.
I just want to hear some reasoning and or life stories from folks from all sorts of faiths as to why I should adopt some sort of religion, spirituality, or philosophy as my own. After hearing some I will likely question what they are seeing and see where we go from there. Again... be civil, because regardless of what faith we are... we are all human beings.
