Mixing Religion and Politics (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K30_Zz7tHYs&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ewakeupfromyourslumber%2Eco m%2Fnode%2F4000)

"I have covered the Christian right intensely for over four years. During this time, I attended dozens of Christian right conferences, regularly monitored movement publications and radio shows, and interviewed scores of its key leaders. I have never witnessed any spectacle as politically extreme, outrageous, or bizarre as the one Christians United for Israel produced last week in Washington. See for yourself."

In the age of science people understand the theory of religion is upper than science. What is this?

As religion has yet to qualify as theory, it's more about wishful thinking.

Anyone participating in this thread should review carefully the special rules for the R & P forum listed in a sticky at the top of the forum. For your convenience, here is a link: http://www.whistlestopper.com/forum/announcement.php?f=10&a=10

Atticus. Aren't you being somewhat selective with your warnings? On another post in this forum Atheists are referred to as "idiots". (The Atheist Delusion). Also, in other forums muslims are referred to as "islamofacists", and many other derogatory terms, but I've seen no warnings from you.

As a moderator fair play must be used even when you feel that your own personal beliefs are being slighted, and why do "special rules" apply only to the R&P forum? Posters are always slamming each other on the political forums. Personally, I see no difference.

No post was reported. And the "idiocy" remark was about behavior, not ideas or belief. We've certainly had people in this forum say that Christians say stupid things--saying Christians are stupid would be a different thing altogether.

And the R & P rules that I cite above do not apply in other forums, though anyone suggesting that ALL Muslims are fascists would certainly get an edit and a warning.

What is the warning being given here? I don't understand what is in question.

OK. Thanks. I can live with that. I'll just be very careful about the "ALL" word.

Anyone who is "rapture ready" has already said so much about themselves. I for one just cannot fathom the [....] thinking that these folks must've been indoctrinated with.
