Following last night's interview with Diane Sawyer, I have concluded that Jessica Lynch is the most honorable soldier I have seen in a long time. Rather than take credit for things that would have made her a hero and, which could not have been proven since everyone invloved was dead, she had what it took to go on national TV and tell it like it happened. She was not a hero in the sense of killing the enemy or fighting to the end, as was reported. Her rifle was jammed and she didn't get off a shot. She admitted she was scared to death. . . .who wouldn't be?

Jessca, you are a national treasurer and I am proud to have had you a part of our Army. Your forthrightness and spirit is to be admired. We need more young people like you in this country.

I saw the same show and have to agree with you. She was an innocent victim of circumstances. It is good that she is still alive and on the road to recovery.

(I want to see those photos Larry Flint has of her.)
