I think it's pretty cool to have lived within the time period where I have seen the two greatest Olympic champions in history leave their marks;

Mark Spitz and Michael Phelps.


I think it will be found that Phelps is some kind of human/dolphin hybrid that U of M put together in a lab.

And how about those plucky South Koreans? They are third in the medal count right now!!

So true. I'm all for the atheletes but to deny the Olympics is anything but crass commercialism, politics, and a chance for China to promote it's propaganda isn't living in the real world.

South Korea is a huge suprise to me

I would never have expected SK to be ahead of Russia, Germany, the UK and Australia.

I am suprised at the Chinese as well. I knew they were going to do well (from the massive amounts of resources put into training) but I did not think they would still be as close to the top as they are

I think it's great, and good for South Koreans. The one's I've met I've truly liked. They're like the Irish of the Orient; Hard headed, hard drinking, tough minded little SOBs.
