View Full Version : When you think about it Jesus was the first zombie.

All this talk of Dawn of the Dead and Passions made me realize that Jesus was the first person in recorded history to rise from the dead, making him the very first zombie. I wonder if all other zombies descent from his bloodline?

No offense but your post is stupid.
But on the subject.
Sam Kenison said "that Jesus was the only person to come back from the dead and not scare the **** out of any one."

According to "Braindead", the best zombie movie ever made (http://tbhl.theonering.net/films/brain_dead_movies.html), zombie mamas and zombie daddies can have a cute little zombie babies. It's therefore possible, that at least some zombies descent from Jezus's bloodline. But all zombies? Nah, guess not. Raising from the dead is not such a big deal.

actually, the bible records several people coming back from the dead; Jesus himself raised a couple of them, i think Elijah did as well.

"The dead rise, the dead fall. Recyc carries on regardless"
(Mega City 1 Recyc general manager comment on zombie infestation)
2000AD's Mega City One had a Recyc' centre where all citizens are recycled to extract whatever was possible. Visually it was great as thin robotic limbs would deal with production lines of deceased people and Judge Dredd would often have to venture into this macabre place to catch a perp.
